Exploration of the Wilga and Currawong deposits
The proposed Stockman Project will be located on approximately 19 km east-south-east of the township of Benambra in East Gippsland, Victoria, and will produce both copper and zinc concentrates, predominantly for export to south-east Asian smelters.
The Stockman scope of works includes recommissioning the abandoned Wilga underground mine and developing the new Currawong underground mine in conjunction with the construction of a new one million tonne per annum processing plant and expansion of the existing tailings storage facility.
